The exploitation in the old quarry |
The walk calls at different spots in the megalithic site (mega = large ; lithos = stone), such as dolms (megaliths) and menhirs, the original quarry. The walk has different aspects. We take a look at the historical context, we approach the names ethymologically, we take a look at the bigger plan, the method of working in the quarry, the site’s grandeur, human’s negative impact,… There is also an energetic performance, so that people who are sensitive or open for it, can really taste the energy from this area. |
